US companies are "scratching the surface" of corporate responsibility, as a whole concentrating on communication more than performance, according to a global survey by KPMG.
In the KPMG International Survey of Corporate Responsibility Reporting 2011, the consultancy analysed the reports of more than 3,400 companies - the world's 250 largest, and the 100 largest in each of 34 countries.
